We created our Luberon white wine for the first time with the 2010 vintage. We were attracted by this region as it has two virtues for the production of great white wines; the altitude which preserves the level of grape's acidity and the right to cultivate a grape variety which is very aromatic. The chosen parcels are mostly situated in the district de Bonnieux and Lacoste, in the heart of the appellation. The yield was about 45 hectolitres per hectare. This wine is a continuous invitation to insouciance. Its airy yellow color, its vivid fragrances which switch from white peach to green lemon and its lightness on the palate contribute to a complete happiness of drinking.
It's a perfect wine for the aperitif, but it will be fine with fish from the river or, why not, with a tart with frech goat cheese. Our wine making process is aimed at the preservation of the natural fruitiness of the grapes; a direct wine pressing and racking at less than 10°C. We inhibited the malolactic fermentation in order to keep a correct acidity.Serve at 10°C
This wine can be kept for three years, but we would give you the following advice: don't keep it, drink it! |
