2010 LUBERON VIN GOURMAND

INTRODUCTION

Generous, rich and impressive, we’re not really sure how to qualify the 2010 vintage, but the fact is that it overflows with flavor. For the 2010 blend we used vines situated in higher altitudes so as to preserve a good acidity that would better balance the wine. Part of the blend Is coming from the area of Bonnieux and another part from surroundings of Cucuron and Lourmarin.

TASTING NOTES

Blended from equal amounts of Grenache and Syrah harvested in the early morning, this Luberon is a pretty, ruby color. The nose exhales aromas of fresh cherries, pomegranate and rosewood. The palate is meaty and coats the mouth, which risks making one want to finish the bottle in less time than it takes to say it. Here is a wine to put with lamb tagine, couscous or even with a good pizza.
