Don Juan Nahuel is named after Gustavo Santaolla's son.Lunlunta,Luján de Cuyo and Agrelo, Luján de CuyoSight: Intense ruby red color, with deep bluish and black tones.
Nose: Fruity, with prevalence of mature plums and prunes, spicy notes, with certain nutmeg and clove aroma. Its tertiary aromas are noted, determining its elegance.
Mouth: Unctuous, dense, full bodied, revealing spices as nutmeg, clove, with delicate cinnamon notes at midpalate. Dehydrated fruits reappear, such as plums and figs; it has strong and mature tannins, and a sweet and complex finish.Cold Soak: Pre-fermentation at 10° for 24 hours
Alcoholic Fermentation: At 25-27° in stainless steel tanks for 10 days
Malolactic Fermentation: in oak barrels
Alcohol: 14%
Oak Ageing: 24 months
Oak Type: 100% new French (70%) & American (30%) barrels
Barrel age: 100% new
