This small, isolated estate vineyard overlooks the Valley from the eastside hills and faces the sun all day. The numerous rocks and boulders do now allow us to till the rows, and the vines grow deep and long in search of nutrients and moisture. Although this site is generous in splendor, it is incredibly parsimonious in fruit yield. At a tiny yield of 1.5 tons per acre, the consequent concentration of flavor, structure and Cabernet character is exeptional. The 2007 vintage is overtly rich in all aspects: the color is a deep, dark crimson; the aroma bursts with dark berry fruit; the palate is balanced with abundant cassis flavor and the structure guarantees an exceptionally long life.Varietal Content: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Barrel Regime: 28 months in New French oak barrels
Alcohol: 15.1%
235 cases made
