June’s
June Rodil and Cat Miles founded June’s Rosé in 2017. June, the beverage director for multi-outlet hospitality groups and one of 29 female Master Sommeliers in the Americas, was in search of a memorable but affordable sparkling rosé to offer by the glass at her various restaurants. Her longtime friend Cat, an importer specializing in family-owned, farmer-first wineries from around the globe, suggested they pair up to make their own.
Partnering with friend and renowned winemaker Markus Huber, in Traisental, Austria, the duo created a bespoke blend of 50% pinot noir and 50% zweigelt, bottling each vintage with Markus’s estate-grown and certified organic fruit.
