Harvest Notes
- Vintage 2019 will be remembered as relatively trouble-free and enjoyed a long harvest period with slow and steady development
- Wet conditions at flowering produced loose and lighter bunches
- Hot, dry, glorious summer allowed for faster ripening
- Very early start to harvest on March 1
- Fruit harvested at optimum maturity
- Harvest complete on April 13
- Fruit destemmed and fermented in open-top fermenters using predominantly wild yeasts
- Caps plunged twice daily
- Fermented 21 – 30 days, then pressed into small stainless steel vessels and then into 3rd-fill neutral oak barrels
- Aged 9 months before blending and bottling
Winemaker's Notes
This delicious, feminine Pinot Noir exudes lifted aromas of cherry and ripe red berry fruits. The palate shows a lighter touch, yet is juicy and complete, finishing with firm tannins that sit in wonderful harmony with the fruit and acidity.

100% Certified organic Pinot Noir grapes; alcohol: 13%; fruit from the Omaka Valley; fermented in open-top vessels with largely wild yeasts for 21 – 30 days; pressed into stainless and then 3rd-fill neutral oak barrels; aged 9 months before blending and bottling; certified Biogro organic; no animal products used in fining – Vegan and Vegetarian friendly.
