Winemaker's Notes
To the eye, straw yellow color with slight green shimmer. A fruity aroma of pear and apple, which follows onto the palate. The wine is soft, refined and elegant. Savor the freshness, acidity and lingering aftertaste.
Pair this simple but flavorful Pinot Grigio with starters such as baked curd praline on tomato carpaccio. Or enjoy on its own at parties and the patio.

90 Points
With a lively freshness and an easy approach, serving up notes of citrus and lemongrass, the entry-level San Michele Appiano 2020 Alto Adige Pinot Grigio may be that well-priced white you’re looking for to fuel an evening of raclette fondue on potatoes after a winter’s day of cross-country skiing or family tobogganing. This Dolomite staple is a standard and classic approach to the northern Italian workhorse grape. It’s easy-breezy, bring on the cheesy. 2021 – 2023
