The Wine

Vineyard Profile

Depending on the soil and microclimate, Pinot Gris varieties from a simple everyday wine all the way up to absolute top growths.  The warm, sun-exposed vineyards of the Anger sites, with their loamy limestone gravels soils, are a textbook example.  The Anger Alto Adige Pinot Grigio has a noble structure, nice balance and fine acidity – making it an absolute pleasure to drink.

A white with sliced green-apple, lemon and pear character.  Medium body.  Crisp finish.  Creamy texture.  Drink now.

Pale straw. The delicate nose hints at pear and yellow apple. Then more concentrated and deep in the mouth, offering flavors of pear, yellow apple, balsamic oils and herbs. Finishes clean and mineral, with nice persistence.
