Reviews
91-93+ Points
Medium to full-bodied, rich and concentrated, with sweet tannin and notable structure, it should easily be a mid- to low-90-point effort that will have a decade of longevity.
93 Points
Top flight negociant business set up in 2004. Deep purple in colour. Intense aroma of Damsons (plums). Very full, very smooth, incredibly fine tannins and all totally integrated. Polished, pure and stylish, with the emphasis on fruit. Alcohol is high but not obvious. Very persistent. You can't help but be impressed. A producer to watch. Drink 2016 to 2024.
90 Points
A solid, gutsy version, with melted back licorice, plum sauce and blackberry pate de fruit flavors, backed by singed apple wood and tar hints on the finish. Should unwind in the near-term. Drink now through 2022.
