Luberon – Vin Gourmand – 2015

• The 2015 is a very fruity and fresh vintage.
• We selected vineyards that are situated on hillsides with calcareous stratum between 110 and 350 m.
• Syrah grapes are slightly more present in the cuvee, side by side with Grenache grapes.

The vinification was realized at low temperature in order to strengthen the natural fruitiness and aromas of the grapes.  The color and tannins were then extracted carefully paying particular attention to the preservation of aromas.  The wines was aged in tanks.

• Training method:  Double cordon of Royat
• Elevation:  900 feet
• Harvest time:  End of September to mid October
• Fermented 15-20 days in stainless steel tanks at 75°.
• Cooperage:  French
• Length of aging before bottling:  9 months

• Syrah and Grenache grapes produce a dense color with violet glimmer.  You are immediately charmed by the joyfully exploding aroma as soon as your nose is above the glass
• Black cherry plum and red current harmonize perfectly.
• The nose keeps its promise showing a palate with same aromas which are amplified and have a firm tannic structure.
• The is no acerbity, but an imposing acidity – the result is a light and very digestible wine.
• Serve at 16°C.
• This wine is really pleasant when it is young so we advise you to drink it during its youth. However, to keep it for 5 years will not be prejudicial in anyway.
