The Wine

Vineyard Profile
  • The months of April, May and June were very hot and dry, which favored a rapid growth in the vines, as well as an early flowering-12 days in advance compared to the year before. July and August had an average temperature of 22.6°C.
  • With precipitation at 103.5mm, it was ideal for the vines.
  • They didn’t suffer during the crucial period of maturing.
Harvest Notes
  • The harvest happended from September 9th to 29th.
  • We enjoyed an amazing Indian summer, giving the wine-makers the perfect weather for harvesting grapes of superior quality.
  • This harvest will be remembered as one which was expected, straight from the beginning of the year, to be much earlier than previous harvests.
  • And in the end, it turned out to be just like a normal year.
Winemaker's Notes
  • Fermentations went well and the last devattings were implemented at the beginning of November.
  • The wines are currently aging for 18 months in old oak casks, burgundy barrels aged from 1 to 3 wines and stainless steel tanks.

  • Fermented in underground cement vats.
  • Aged in: old oak casks (Grenache), barrels used to age 1-3 year vintages (Mourvedre and Syrah) and stainless steel tanks (Cinsault).
  • Aged for approximately 18 months.
  • Bottled unfiltered.
