  • Bottling: The wine is bottled without filtration

  • Color: Concentrated, bright Garnet.
  • Bouquet: Aromas of violet and rose, with red fruit characteristics.
  • Taste: Made in an earlier-drinking style, this wine has bright red fruit flavors, hints of spice and an earthy savouriness, with good structure and a long finish.
  • Pairings: Most meat dishes, hard cheeses.

The 2012 Langhe Nebbiolo is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. Explosive red berries, rose petals and cinnamon flesh out in a radiant, intense Langhe Nebbiolo built on pure texture. This is a huge overachiever for its modest price. The Langhe Nebbiolo was vinified in cement and aged half in cask, half in barrel. — Antonio Galloni
