Attractive, cherry-scented pinot noir with appealing purity and flavours that suggest black cherry, cassis, violet and red rose. A structure of fine tannins prevents any suggestion of cloying. In a blind tasting I could easily pick this as a good Village Beaujolais.

From Seresin, the deep, bright ruby 2023 vintage is certified organic. Not barrel-aged, but ‘aged on oak alternatives’, it is freshly scented and vibrantly fruity, with mouthfilling body and strong cherry, plum and spice flavours. A generous, energetic, very smooth red, drinking well in its youth, it should be at its best mid-2025+.

Bright and fragrant, showing cherries, cranberries and oyster shells over subtle herbs and spices. Medium-bodied and supple with fine, chalky tannins and vibrant acidity. Pure and juicy with a clean, focused finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap.
