  • The Sanct Valentin Sauvignon has found excellent conditions at the foot of the Mendel Massif in selected vineyards that have been carefully chosen over the course of the last 20 years, in order to produce a great vintage wine with impressive fruit, minerality and excellent persistence.
  • This fine wine is not only the pride of the winery today and the most important wine in the Sanct Valentin line, but also one of Italy’s most award-winning white wines.
  • Age of vines:  10 to 28 years

Harvest Notes
  • Harvest:  From the beginning to mid-September, harvest and selection of grapes by hand

Winemaker's Notes
  • Color:  Yellow-green
  • Nose:  Dense nose of yellow fruit, gooseberry, elderflower and ripe red currant
  • Palate:  Crisp acidity, smooth body and an elegant fullness

The 2015 Alto Adige Sauvignon Sanct Valentin shows a level of intensity and clarity that represents the best side of this classic vintage. The bouquet is super fresh and fragrant and is an absolute pleasure to drink, sip after sip. The wine doesn’t pretend to offer infinite complexity, but that is not the point. Instead, it promises a glitch-free expression of this fragrant grape from the cool climate of Northern Italy

A creamy white, with a minerally underpinning and an aromatic mix of ripe white peach, Thai basil, honeydew melon and ground ginger flavors.  Finely knit and fresh, this light- to medium-bodied version features a lasting finish of orchard blossom and spice.  Drink now through 2021.

Enticing intense aromas including exotic fruit, fragrant white wild flower, cut grass and Alpine herb offer an intriguing introduction to this stunning wine.  One of Italy’s most iconic bottlings, it has an inviting full-bodied palate, delivering layers of ripe pineapple, juicy white grapefruit and energizing mineral notes.  Mouthwatering acidity closes the long lingering finish.
